The GFM product is a component of the Copernicus Emergency Management Service (CEMS) that is specifically designed to provide users around the world with timely, up-to-date, and reliable global flood mapping information based on Sentinel-1 satellite imagery.
GFM is implemented and operated by a consortium comprising the following organizations: EODC; GeoVille; TU Wien; LIST; DLR; CIMA. All data produced by GFM are freely available through GloFAS, EFAS and the GFM web portal (for example), as described in Section 6 of this PUM.
